She runs to get her nice coat and put the roses in a glass.

Alex drives Lexi down to Monroe Harbour, where a beautiful private riverboat awaits her. They are greeted by the captain who escorts them to a perfectly laid table where the two enjoy a candlelit dinner as they watch the sun set over the Chicago skyline from lake michigan.

Alexis: This is amazing. I can't believe you did all this just to make me happy.

Alex could quite happily stay here indefinitely, and he hates to disturb Alexis.... but their time is up.

Alex: Honey.... I hate to say this but we should probably go before the crew abandon's ship..... besides I still need to escort you safely to your door for this to be a successful date.

Alex laughs and wraps his arm low on Alexis' waist, and escorts her to the car. They drive home and as promised Alex escorts his date to the door.

Alex: Well here we are.....

Alexis: I've had a wonderful time... and I've got something for you, but you have to wait here because it's a surprise.

She closes the door but doesn't lock it. After a few minutes she calls from inside.

Alexis: Alright, it's safe to come in!
