Colin:"Heh no no ask her, she does it so much better....But put it this way, she didn't talk to dad for a solid week after..."

Alexis chuckles.

Alexis: I'll do that. But notice that other than Jillian, the older generation seems to be avoiding this?

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"...You do know that there is a history between family's and babies right?...Not that it has anything to do with it. I'm just sayin' is all..."

[Pockets]

Alexis: Yeah, before they come out. You think dad's worried about... doing something? Accidentally, I mean.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Honestly...I don't know. A year ago I would have said totally. I'm not sure he carries those demons with him now. Although if anything would cause a relapse..."

[Pockets]

Alexis: Then this is where it gets complicated.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Gets complicated?...Well I'm sure his involvement in being the long term reason your husband is laying in a hospital bed now won't affect that now.."

[Pockets]

Alexis shakes her head.

Alexis: I wasn't talking about that. I meant that I'd like for dad to hold the babies, maybe get rid of any leftover demons. But, with the odd luck we seem to have I'd be afraid that something would happen that had nothing to do with him, but just because of bad timing.....

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Well, maybe if its just you him and the babies in the room..."

[Pockets]

Alexis: You make it sound like you're trying to set something up.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"...Uh I mean maybe nothing bad will happen if...Geeze..."

[Pockets]

Alexis: You're awfully jumpy....

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan walks into the room.

Ewan: Oh.... sorry.... hope I'm not interrupting....

[Pockets]

Alexis looks over at Ewan.

Alexis: Not at all.

Ewan: So how's mummy doing?

He comes in and picks up Natalie.

Alexis: A little tired, but alright.

Natalie looks a little uncomfortable, and starts to cry.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Jumpy? The last smoke I had was on the long drive over here..."

He glances over at Natalie

Colin:"She needs a change. Here I can take care of that while you two chat."

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: I think tiredness is to be expected my dear...... From what Jilly tells me you should be back to yourself in a few days.

....Hmmmn.... I don't think that's it Colin.....

Ewan looks at Nathalie for a moment, then gently presses on Natalie's stomach.

Awww.... somebody ate a little too quickly huh?

He firmly strokes Natalie's back.

Come on cutie.... you got a nice big burp for grandpa?

[Pockets]

Natalie lets out a cute little baby burp and starts giggling.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan smiles at Natalie.

Ewan: There we go.... you got your daddy's burp and your mummy's smile haven't you angel?

[Pockets]

Natalie giggles again, then looks at Ewan inquisitively.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: What's the matter angel? It's just grandpa.

[Pockets]

Natalie looks around at her mother, Colin, Micah... then back to Ewan. She reaches up and grabs at air, looking very confused. She looks back at Alexis as she laughs.

Alexis: I think she's looking for your hair.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: Oh..... well sweetie.... that's a very long story..... I'm sure mummy and daddy will tell it to you when you're old enough to...... understand.....

He holds her a little higher so Natalie can touch his head.

[Pockets]

Natalie stares in fascination at Ewan's bald head, and starts smacking it.
