[Cruel Britannia]

The day after the most extravagant wedding in the history of the world. And a beautiful Rolls Royce Phantom II pulls up outside Chicago's O'Haire Airport and out steps Ewan Edwards. He pops the trunk and pulls out two bags. Alex and Alexis step out of the back.

Alex: You didn't ave to take us to the airport Dad.

Ewan: I wanted to..... I'll be picking you up to.

Alex: You'll be in Chicago for two weeks?

Ewan smirks to Alexis.

Ewan: I have some business to take care of.

[Pockets]

Alexis catches the smirk and smirks back.

Alexis: The present you won't tell us about?

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: Indeed..... plus I also have to get the ball rolling on your new dojo..... but you just go enjoy your honeymoon.... all the hard work will be waiting for your return.

Now get the hell out of here.... go have fun.... alone.... in Rio..... for two weeks.....

He shakes his head.

just..... take a break to eat and drink once in a while OK?

[Pockets]

Alexis nudges Alex, smirking

Alexis: We'll have to go out... we won't have Mr. Gains.

She double takes on what her father-in-law has said.

Alexis: The dojo too... I can see where Alex gets it....

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Theres always room service...... although I'm determined to show you around a little bit heh.

Ewan: Uh..... where he gets what?

Alex shrugs

[Pockets]

Alexis glances between them for a moment.

Alexis: You both do so much....

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan smirks.

Ewan: Oh Well.... it's nothing really.... but you're quite welcome.

He hugs them both then goes to get back in the car.

Alex: Bye dad.

Ewan: See you in two weeks. Love you both.

[Pockets]

Alexis waves to Ewan as he drives off, the looks at Alex as she picks up one of the bags.

Alexis: Let's get these checked in... how much time to we have?

[Cruel Britannia]

Before Alexis has time to react he grabs the bag out of her hand, and grabs the other bag in the same hand.

Alex: We have plenty of time..... I mean it's bound to take at least 45 minutes to check in.... another hour to get through security..... we should even have enough time to grab a really quick bite to eat before we have to get to the gate.....

[Pockets]

Alexis smirks at Alex grabbing the bag out of her hand.

Alexis: You are amazing....

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex looks down at the bags.

Alex: Hahaha..... amazing? How is that amazing?

[Pockets]

Alexis chuckles.

Alexis: That you are so determined I don't lift a bag...

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex winks.

Alex: Just making sure you save your strength for Rio sexy Lexi.

They walk into the terminal. Lexi goes to walk to the check in counter but Alex stops and leans against a wall.

[Pockets]

Alexis, concerned, stops and walks over to Alex.

Alexis: Are you alright? Seriously... I'll take the bags....

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Oh I'm fine sweetie.... just checking in.

He pulls out a card and swipes it through a reader on the wall and the wall panel slides away to reveal an elevator. They walk in and Alex types a code into the panel on the wall, the doors close and the elevator starts to move.

[Pockets]

Alexis stares around the elevator, wide eyed.

Alexis: What's this?

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex smiles.

Alex: This my love is what lies beyond first class.

The elevator doors open to a room that contains a single bag check in station, a single security station and an immaculate greeter.

Greeter: Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Edwards. Welcome to private member's class. My name is Susan. I'll be your personal attendant today. If we can please handle the formailities of checkin and security and I'll escort you to the clubhouse as quickly as possible. May I take your bags Mr Edwards?

She takes the bags, weighs them and puts them through a scanner as they dissappear onto the conveyorbelt.

....passports please?

Alex and Lexi hand over their passports. Susan checks them and hands them back.

OK and if you could step through the scanner please.... pleas remove any metallic items you have on your person.

They pass through the scan with no problems.

Great well that's that taken care of please walk this way.

Alex and Lexi have passed through chckin and security in under 5 minutes. Susan escorts them to large door which she unlocks with a series of security cards and codes. The doors swing open to reveal the private members class lounge.



They walk inside and are immediately handed champagne flute full of ultra-chilled vanilla coke.

Alexis is speechless throughout the whole thing, finally blinking in astonishment at her new husband.

Alexis: Is this one of the perks of being an Edwards?

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Hahaha..... well we certainly do take care of our own.....

He smirks.

I take it you like it?

[Pockets]

Alexis nods slowly.

Alexis: It is far beyond what I expected.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Those words are music to my ears my love.

..... Are you hungry?

[Pockets]

Alexis chuckles.

Alexis: I'm almost afraid of what would pop up if I said yes....

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex almost looks embarrassed by what he's about to say.

Alex: Um.... well.... actually..... anything you want....

[Pockets]

Alexis: Before I answer that... first class... or are you going to surprise me with a private plane?

She grins mischievously.

Alexis: It makes a difference.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex looks disappointed that Lexi figured out the surprise.

Alex: Well I.... uh..... private jet...... but what difference does that make?
