The two find themselves in the fresh produce section.

She picks up a zucchini, and gestures with it.

Alexis: Would this mean that vegetables are more masculine and fruits are more feminine?

Alex picks up two canteloupes.

Alex: It would certainly appear so.

He puts the melons in the cart and picks up a punnet of strawberries.

..... masculine or feminine?

Alexis takes a strawberry, turns it so the stem is facing down, looks at Alex, and raises her eyebrows.

Alexis: It's a stretch, I know.

He looks around to make sure the coast is clear and bites the strawberry in half straight down the middle and shows Lexi the inside.
