Alex: Well the smart money was on Mandy obviously. Most of them thought you'd pick her.... including Mandy. Jay thought you'd go for Erin.... since you hadn't met her before and she's less well known as a fighter.... I split the winnings with dad.

Alex: Mum was quite obviously your biggest critic.... or at least the one who was most nervous about the idea of you taking her little boy away..... you knew she was the one you really had to convince... Plus I knew that even at that moment..... there was a part of you that couldn't resist seeing if you could hang with my mum.
