Naomi: No, I don't. My...husband left me for another woman three years ago. So, I've just been working massive ammounts of overtime to well...not be at home everynight, crying my eyes out.

Ashley:"Uh...wow...umm we knew each other fer a long time before we got married. But it really 'eated up when we started working with each other. Eventually I got the balls to ask 'er out and next thing I knew we were married. Now we 'ad our foits before and after. Some were literal foits. I mean we both spent times in pub brawls and wot not...
Either way I loved 'er. But...over time I lost me way. I walked out of me job after getting injured, I got depressed, and I cheated on 'er...not with another woman but with the bottle. I mean...I drank before but...this was different..."

Ashley:"You know..I 'ave tried to change. Really. Years ago I gave up drinking. Didn't drink fer nearly a year. But people still viewed me as a drunk. Like I was so living breathing Irish stereotype. Eventually...I gave in. If that's 'ow they viewed me, then I decided to give them wot they wanted. It's 'ard to change when after a year o' trying nobody can even acknowledge it or even see it. I get the feeling yer going to say something about "doing it fer meself" but...I can only do that so much without some support...Thats why this all scares me."

Naomi: Well...it was a classic boy meets girl in high school. They fall in love, go to prom, can't keep away from each other in college. He asked me to marry him and I said yes. The first two years were...incredible. I was in love...happy, my career was starting to take off...and I got pregnant.

Then...I...I miscarried. He blamed me for losing the child. All of a sudden, I was working too much...it just...fell apart after that. One day, I came home and he was gone. All that was left was a note that read, "I want more in my life than a woman who can't carry to term."

Naomi: Actually...it's easier for me to believe in you. When you won the world title...I was there, in the third row, actually. Made me think I could do anything if you could finally overcome. So I guess....I could feel that way again...

Naomi: Well, I could identify with you. A scrapper. I couldn't identify with Jillian, she's too perfect...I actually resented her a little bit. Stu scared me and Ewan was just like...male Jillian. I felt I could sit and have a beer with you....

...well, not now...but you know what I mean. It was that quality that endeared you to me.

Naomi: Oh...what's to tell? I graduated from Notre Dame with my nursing certificate. I want to go back to school and maybe some day put 'doctor' in front of my name. My sister lives in Tuscon with her husband and thier 5 kids.
