Alex: I...... hate...... your father.... I mean..... I hate him more than I can put into words..... and I tried..... I tried so hard for you.... and for me.... to make our lives a little easier to not hate.... to try and push it down..... but I can't..... I'll admit it..... I know he wont do it.... but the thought of him having anything to do with our children still scares the hell out of me.... And your brother.... there was a time when I considered Colin a friend.... but the man he became when he made good with your dad.... that selfish guy who all but ignored his fiancee and was unable to be happy for Moira because he was so wrapped up in the fact that mummy and daddy weren't a couple anymore..... the guy who was defending your father non-stop.... to us.... constantly harrassing us.... about how we treat this man who caused all of us so much damn suffering.... who wouldn't stop no matter how much I.... you ....or anyone pleaded with him to just stop..... I could understand it.... but all it did was make my family, me, you, Micah.... miserable..... and I hated him for that... I hated the guy he turned into.

He doesn't realise anyone but Alexis is listening.

Alex: I understand.... I never said out to intentionally lie to you..... I'd never thought of it as lying until now.... I thought it was a.... work in progress.... a problem to be solved.... that if I focused and tried hard enough that I could.... fix it.... make it better.... but now you have no reason to believe that.
