Ben: Did you honestly think that living a life of lies would be better for you or your children? Didn't you want Alex...to be up front and totally honest?


Gabe and Nikki pull into the hospital parking lot with the bags of food. They see Micah, Alex and Amanda outside smoking...

Gabe: Hey guys, foods' here! I even got something for you Mandy.

[Pockets]

Alexis: I didn't want him to have to stuff it for my sake.

[Cruel Britannia]

Amanda's jaw has literally dropped at the sight of Alex's behaviour.

Amanda: Uh.... thanks Gabe.......nice timing for an entrance as always.

[Cryonix]

Ben: And now that you know how he really feels?

[Pockets]

Alexis: I... I don't know.... My dad just got hurt for my wanting honesty. He's just sitting there....

Tears start welling up in her eyes.

[Cryonix]

Ben: Alexis...you can't have it both ways. You said yourself you knew Alex harbored feelings of....anger towards your family. You then said you want him to tell him the truth. Now that you know it...you're upset? I think you were holding on to something....you already knew wasn't going to happen.

[Pockets]

Alexis: I know... I know.... it's not just what happened, I saw that coming, in a way. Alex just went from being all contrite to walking out of here with a smile. It's like his whole personality was a lie....

[Cryonix]

Ben: Are you saying...that he's not the Alex you fell in love with?

[Pockets]

Alexis: I don't know... I really don't. Right now I don't know who Alex is.

[Jabberwocky]

None of them seem to notice that Colin has stumbled within hearing range of everybody outside. He slowly sits down on the curb glancing over at Micah, Alex, and Amanda from the distance and mumbles to himself

Colin:"I wake up...hated as much as him..."
he looks out into the parking lot



Ashley doesn't look up
Ashley:"What would you 'ave me do Alexis? You made it clear you want me to stay out of it..."

[Pockets]

Alexis: I thought he knocked you senseless or something. I don't want you going after him. There's no point.

Nikki: So, what did we miss?

[Jabberwocky]

Ashley:"I mean stay out of everything..."

[Pockets]

Alexis: What do you mean "everything"?

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: You don't know who Alex is.... well let me remind you....

He's the guy who took you in when you had nowhere else to go and he was getting NOTHING in return...
He's the guy who broke both of his father's arms for crossing the line with you....
He's the guy who scaled the side of a penthouse apartment to put a smile on your face....
He's the guy tattooed your name across his own heart.....
He's the guy who flat out told me that if you didn't want to do the initiation he'dd have to leave his family because he can't be without you....

let me remind you.... when you got together Lexi.... you hated your father too.... YOU changed.... not Alex..... and because Alex didn't want to come between you and reuniting with your father... he bent over backward to try and help YOU.... not himself.... he was putting himself through hell.... he was trying to make YOU happy....

You talk about actions being more importantant than words.... well OK... he didn't say the WORDS "I hate your family" .... but his actions.... since the second he met you has screamed..... I love you more than life itself.... and there is no sacrifice I wont make to make you happy.......

[Pockets]

Alexis: Was it too much to want to know all of him? I have never seen this side of him. And excuse me for wanting to meet my father halfway when he was finally willing to make the effort to confront his demons. And I'm not the only one that changed... when the saints were all together Alex didn't even want to be the Legacy.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: There is a difference Alexis.... between not wanting to be.... and feeling unworthy.... and he still doesn't in case you haven't noticed..... god damnit no wonder he couldn't tell you how he felt when you don't actually hear what he says when he does try and speak to you.....

[Pockets]

Alexis: You are wrong Ewan. He only felt unworthy of it after he found out he couldn't wrestle. When he moved here it was to get away from being forced into being the Legacy.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: Yeah.... because of his hair.... and tattoos..... and the way he dresses right? Sounds a hell of a lot like a list of reasons why he would think he was UNWORTHY of the positions.....

[Pockets]

Alexis: Your way is the only way then, isn't it?

She looks at her father.

Alexis: And you are so obsessed over one lost cause that you refuse to see the people that are trying to help you away from being one.

She stands.

Alexis: You are both completely impossible, and for the sake of your grandchildren I wish you would both please get your heads out of your asses!

She walks out the door.

Alexis: I need some air.

[Cryonix]

Jillian is headed back to deliver the discharge papers...and runs into Alexis...

Jillian: Oh...hey, you're up and around already! Well, here are your discharge papers and.....what's wrong?

[Pockets]

Alexis: Everything!

[Cryonix]

Jillian: Uh huh. Okay...Here, sit down. Talk to me.

[Pockets]

Alexis tries to explain everything that happened from when Colin had been wheeled to see the babies.

[Cryonix]

Jillian: Oh...Lord in heaven. Take a couple of deep breaths, hon. You can go forward now. Everything is on the table.

Meanwhile, Gabe hands out the styrofoam trays of food...

Gabe: Sit and eat you two. Hey Nikki....garlic bread....

Amanda: Uh..... Gabe...... I haven't seen Alex like this since we were kids.....
