Colin:"Years back...that year I lived and was training and fighting in the muay thai circuit in Thailand. I ended up at this wedding. Some European guy marrying a Thai girl. The wedding was very nice and the reception was nothing unusual. But then there was the after reception party. Only selected people were invited to that. Coke on the tables, escorts walking around making offers. The best man was so wasted he ended up going home with a kathoey..er..ladyboy. Ha, we all knew but it was more amusing to let him find out on his own..."

Ashley:"Ah I just thought...well alright nevermind. I guess calling this an eventful year would be an understatement huh?"

Alex: Yeah... tell me about it....... hmmmn..... You know......I think our honeymoon was the first chance Lexi and I had to spend some time together without some sort of life-threatening drama unfolding.....

I'm praying things will be a little calmer now that there are kids on the way..... you know... except for the fact that we'll have three kids..... heh

Amanda: Muay Thai huh?

She thinks for a moment.

..... sorry..... kind of a weird response, I know..... you tell me about an outraegous party in Thailand and I pick up on the fact you know Muay Thai....

Colin:"Heh not that strange. I know I don't exactly look like the most disciplined fighter. I suppose I'm what you could call an unorthodox fighter. A trend I guess I picked up watching my dad in the ring. So Muay Thai in Thailand; Capoeira in Brazil where I've done some training with Andre Gusmao and then more back home in Austin. Oh and then Parkour with Yamakasi in France. I've sort of developed my own style from that over time. I'm sure it could use tweaking but for what I've needed it for its done me well..."

Amanda: Well..... I'm teaching the Capoeira class at Micah's dojo..... you should stop by when you're in Seattle.

Ewan: Of course..... why do you think Alex is working so hard to make sure your pregnancy is spent in calm conditions? Happy mummy makes for happy babies.....

Alex: Oh she can..... and I'm sure she's plotting payback....

Amanda: Yeah well, me and Alex are both quarter Brazillian, so we spent a lot of time in Rio visiting family when we were little. We practiced a lot while we were out there.... and with our Aunt Nathie. Alex got his White Corda while he was on honeymoon, and he tested me for mine when he got back..... so yeah..... guess Micah thought since I'd be hanging around the school all the time anyway I may as well make myself useful.

Clerk: I'm sorry, Mr. St. Clair, all the flights to Chicago have been sold out for weeks. If you'd like to wait at will call...I'm sure we can set you up with a red eye...in....oh say, four days or so.

Micah: FOUR DAYS? Sonofabitch... Another airline, perhaps?

Clerk: You can try...but they'll tell you the same thing....

Micah walks away from the clerk, pissed off. He flips open his phone and dials Amanda...

Micah: Hey baby....it seems that my flight has been delayed...for days. I'm trying my hardest to get out there to see Alexis. Hope all is well. I love you. Bye.

From the shadows...a pair of eyes watch Micah intently....

Amanda: Yeah.... she gets that a lot..... Aunt Nathie always looked more Brazillian of the two.....but hey..... they both have never look a day over 25 gene..... I think thats a Brazillian thing.

She gets the text from Micah and responds.

Not seeing you for days is not an option..... I'm sending out the private jet.

Ewan:Heh..... well you may be more accurate than you think.... all of Jilly's theories about Alex and Amanda were almost spot on.
