Colin:"Because I've seen the other side of Lucian Noire. I know how Lilith works. They don't give a damn about anything except their own goals and they will use anything and everything, like you for example, to get them."

Carmella: What do you think we should do then, hmm?

[Cruel Britannia]

Outside the room, close enough to hear both sides of the conversation on the phone, is Ewan.

Alex: Yeah Lexi...... come on..... Colin's never been able to sit still for 5 damn minutes.

Inside Alex looks at Lexi's reaction to the shots and looks to Jillian

Is that normal?

Alexis: That's not entirely true.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Oh?

[Pockets]

Alexis: He's the one that raised me, more than anyone. He stuck around for that. And you can't say it was because he was too young to go anywhere. If he'd really wanted to take off, he would have. It's only when something really bothers him, and he's got no other outlet, that he distances himself from whatever it is.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: I didn't mean anything by it.

[Pockets]

Alexis sighs.

Alexis: I think you make him nervous.

Alex: Me? Why?

Alexis: It hasn't exactly been the smoothest relationship between our families... and with him and Mandy having it out like that....

Alex holds his tongue.

Alex: Now isn't the time to be thinking about that.......

[Pockets]

Alexis: You asked... and you told me I could talk to you about anything.

Alex: You can love...... I'm just saying..... getting upset is what put you in here in the first place. I'm trying to avoid that.

[Pockets]

Alexis: I'm not getting upset. I just want to make sure everything is straight.

Alex: Sweetie...... even if it isn't theres nothing we can do about it since neither of us did anything wrong.

Alexis: Do about what? I don't expect you to go chasing after him... just maybe think of him as more than an immature child. He's trying as much as you are.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Ok, I'm sorry.

He sits sheepishly on the other side of the room.

[Pockets]

Alexis sighs.

Alexis: Alex...

Suddenly she winces with a headache as her blood pressure spikes on the monitor.

Colin:"Carmella I can't...Not under these circumstances. I just-"

He freezes, sensing somebody near by

Colin:"Look if you feel like YOU need to do something fine. But don't drag me into it by trying to guilt me. Send my love to your moms and hey, come out and see me sometime alright? You me and Amber will have dinner and catch up. But..

he leans forward catching a glimpse of Ewan

"Just be safe Carmella. Please."

he looks over at Ewan as he hangs up the phone

[Cruel Britannia]

Akex rushes back over to Lexi.

Alex: It's OK sweetie..... it's OK.....

He looks at Jillian.

.....Mum?

Meanwhile Ewan looks at Colin and rubs his temples. He picks up his phone.

Ewan: Gabriel..... it's Ewan...... we have a problem. Threats have been made against the family......... Carmella..... yes, it seems she has connections with Colin's old friend Lucian Noir. No..... no need to do anything yet...... just inform the others..... but not Alexis..... she's pregnant, her condition is delicate.... that's right, she's not to know anything is wrong if we can help it. Just stay alert.... if a problem presents itself..... deal with it.

Colin smirks as he overhears Ewan, and shakes his head

Colin:"Your family isn't under threat from Lucian..."
