Alex: There isn't anything special about carrying the bags for a lady.... I mean it goes without saying that I should do that.

As they approach the door to their building Alex stares at the door intently, playing a mental game of tetris.... trying to figure out how to get himself and the shopping throught the door without separating himself from Alexis.

Alexis notices Alex's mental game and smiles. She slides the one bag she still has to the crook of her elbow and goes for her own keys, keeping her other hand firmly in Alex's pocket.

Alex: See? This would be significantly easier if you'd let me carry ALL the bags.

She finds her key and opens the door.

She walks through the door, still attached by pockets.

Alex just chuckles. He presses the button to summon the elevator with his nose. The doors open and the step inside the small space which is made even more cramped by the presence of the groceries. They are forced to snuggle close together face to face to fit in.

Alex: Hi.
