Alexis tries to keep her eyes open, but it's not working. A voice is heard in the doorway. Nikki is standing there, balancing on crutches.

Nikki: A hospital bed? Seriously? I thought you guys left hours ago. And what's up with the guy in the next room?

Lexi's just resting.... we've had a..... long day..... and well..... that guy in the next room is my Uncle..... Gabriel's father..... he currently has tubes in his heart cleaning his blood...... how's your day been?

Raquel holds her breath for a moment, her eyes closed, She speaks faintly, with a faint quiver in her voice
Raquel:"I'm sorry I wasn't stronger for you Shawn..I'm..."

Meanwhile Colin looks over at Ben
Colin:"Umm..well thanks for the lift. We might need you for an escape later...Any chance of you acquiring an escape car for us?"

As Shawn lets out another scream, he bears down on Erins hand, there is an audible crack as the bones break, Erin barely flinches.

Erin: It's OK Shawn let it out.

Alexis murmurs in her sleep, snuggling closer to Alex. Nikki winces, glancing in the direction of the noise, before answering Alex's question.

Nikki: Yeah... they have some bloke come in all the time asking me all these questions, and I think he's starting to wonder why I'm there.

Alex also winces at the noise, but hears Alexis murmur and gently shushes her back to sleep with a kiss on the top of her head, before turning his attention back to Nikki.

Alex: .... well better late then never I guess.

Nikki: Oh that's the funny thing. He didn't believe me at first, thought I was just giving him some scripted answers, so I could get back out there and put a gun to my head or something.

Shawn continues to breath deeply and lets out screams. He can't bear the pain, but his eyes clear up...he can see...

Shawn: Wha.......t.....E...er....in....? ....I....can....s..eee......you....

Gabe: How about...base jumping, for real? Like...maybe off of the Staples Center?

Ben: Yes, that should be no problem. I have friends here.

Raquel smiles, a tear running down her cheek. She slowly leans into Shawn

You feel relaxed, content. Your almost to warm Shawn, oh the sun does such a good job. You feel the heat of the sun don't you?
You feel a drip of water hit your face...then another...it starts to rain. It's so refreshing Shawn, the gentle summers rain hitting you. Do you feel it Shawn? Think of the rain Shawn. Theres no pain. No hospital. Feel the rain Shawn. The refreshing rain and the sun breaking through.

She feels faint again, out of breath. She looks at Erin

Shawn continues to hold on to Erin's hand...but the words of Raquel are having some effect. His body is staring to relax...and convulse less...
