he looks over at Cynthia and her mother and mouths "sorry about this"

Frank:"Ben, I'll pay you back for this. You have my word."

For the first time in a long time, the 6'7" mutton-chopped bartender shows a menacing side as he grabs Charles lifting him up by the shirt and carrying him out the front door. He tosses the man onto the grass then grabs him by one arm and picks him off the ground

Frank:"You don't explain and you will not get to see if that tradition continues past that. Now, I ask again, what do you mean?"

Cynthia gasps as Frank lifts up her father, and rushes out the door after him.

Cynthia: Frank...?

Frank spins the man around to face Cynthia

Frank:"See that woman? I love that woman. I would do anything for that woman. My purpose in life is to bring that woman as much happiness as I can; to have her enjoy life with me as my wife.
That woman is your daughter. However, you are not her father."

he spins Charles around to face him

Frank:"A father would be concerned about his daughters happiness. Would want his daughter happy. All I see is a man so worried about kicked out of what? Some old boys club? Do you have any idea how vain and pathetic that sounds?
I would love to see Cynthia being walked down the aisle by her father."

he drops Charles

Frank:"Hopefully some day he shows up."

He sneers in distaste one more time and walks over to Cynthia, kissing her, whispering to her
Frank:"Sorry you saw all that"
