[Pockets]

Moira: I think that if you know so bloody much about this family then you can bloody well find Colin on your own.

She slams the door in their faces, then looks apologetically at Ben.

Moira: We'll 'ave our night, but I need to get to the bottom of this.

She hops down, goes to get her phone, and calls Colin.

[Jabberwocky]

One of the men drops a business card into the mail slot. The only thing on it is a phone number.

They walk to their car, where a third man joins them

Man2:"Everything set?"

Man3:"Took a while to find the right wires, but everything is tapped."

Man1:"Lets go. Call the boss, tell him we're on our way."

they pile into the car and drive off.

Meanwhile, Colin answers the phone

Colin:"Oh hey mom."

[Pockets]

Moira: 'Ey Colin... Ben an' I jus' 'ad some roit odd visitors. They came round askin' about you.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"For me? Why the hell would they do that?"

[Pockets]

Moira: They were sayin' somethin' about a some real pricey jade egg they think you nicked.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"...Oh. I see."

[Pockets]

Moira catches the familiar slightly guilty tone in Colin's voice.

Moira: They claimed to be FBI or somethin', knew a bloody lot about our family... but somehow didn't know where you lived.

She sighs.

Moira: Wot the 'ell did you get yourself into?

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"It's a long story. But they aren't FBI."

[Pockets]

Moira: I didn't think so... who are they?

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Goons, errand boys, take your pick. What were these ones like?"

[Pockets]

Moira: Looked loik the Men in Black. Damn near finished each other's sentences. Who are they workin' for?

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Ah, them. They work for a man they may have mentioned. Lucian Noire.

[Pockets]

Moira: Yeah, they did... said you went 'is house for a party an' later nicked the egg offa 'im, the whole thing 'appenin' near exactly a year ago.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Well...its half true I suppose..."

[Pockets]

Moira: Wot 'alf?

[Jabberwocky]

Colin sighs

Colin:"Like I said....it's a long story."

[Pockets]

Moira: You ain't ever been so 'esitant to talk to mey.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Yeah well this was sort of a mess I thought would go away on its own..."

[Cryonix]

Ben comes back, holding what looks like electronics. He's shaking his head...

Ben: Hmm....they are not who they say they were. My phone chirped and the security system showed me a third man bugging my house. If that's Colin on the phone, tell him I want to know why men that know him are bugging my house?

[Pockets]

Moira: Well, your mess is goin' the other way, an' gettin' bigger. You alroit if I put you on speaker so Ben can 'ear your story too? 'E jus' found some bugs your friends went an' planted, an' 'e wants to know why.

[Jabberwocky]

Man2:"They found the decoys."

Man3:"Right. Tracing the call.....Austin Texas. Transmitting the coordinates now."



Colin:"Yeah alright I suppose.."

[Pockets]

Moira switches the call to speakerphone.

Moira: Alroit, if not the whole story, at least answer some questions for mey. 'Ow do these guys know so much about us... from your family 'istory roit to knowin' about the weddings... plural. An' 'ow do they know where we live, but not you? Even Nana bloody knows where you live.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"...Have you ever seen the Wikipedia pages on all of us? It's not that hard to figure out. Besides, between the notoriety of us all, it's hard to keep things as private as we might believe they are."

[Cryonix]

Ben: You're stalling and hiding from us. Talk, Colin.

[Jabberwocky]

Colin:"Look, I was involved but I didn't take the damn thing, I swear."
