Nikki: Alright, boarding time.

Gabe: Heh...enjoy the plane ride. Relax, stretch out....go to the bar, have a drink or two...it's a long flight.

Nikki: Oh I know... I remember the last one. I haven't seen any creepy guys around here this time though.

[Cryonix]

The last few days have been a blur to Jayden Cortez. He's called into the Chancellor's office today. He's not nervous, but he does wonder what this is about....

Jayden: Um....Mr. Chancellor?

Chancellor: Ah yes, Mr. Cortez. Please, come in and take a seat, won't you?

Jayden: Of course.

Chancellor: Mr. Cortez, I wanted to be the one to break this news to you. The school has received back the applications you've put into different law schools around the world. Harvard, Yale, Penn, Columbia....

Jayden: Oh, right...I put those in like....sophomore year. I'd almost forgotten about them.

Chancellor: Well, Mr. Cortez...they haven't forgotten about you...and neither have we. Your stay here at this University has been nothing short of incredible. Rhodes Scholar, Captian of the fencing team and Oxford Crew, and I believe you've competed for the wrestling team as well.

Jayden: Yes sir. Freshman and sophomore year. I wanted to slow down a bit to focus on my studies. What....exactly is this about, sir?

Chancellor: Your applications to Harvard, Yale, Colombia, Penn....as a matter of fact....every Ivy League school you've applied to....has accepted you to join them. In addition....the House of Lords has requested you for an internship.

Jayden is speechless...

Chancellor: Mr. Cortez....the world is basically yours. I suggest talking to your Uncle and Aunt, as you know...graduates of this fine school themselves....about what you should do. This is a big decision....Not to mention the final tests for your year came back...

....and you will be graduating top of your graduation class...along with one other person. You two tied in Grade Point Average.

Jayden: ....Jessica Crawford, right?

Chancellor: Yes, that's right.

Jayden nods with a smirk on his face....

Chancellor: Well, here is all your final paperwork. Seeing as how you've finished all your studies about two months early, just turn these papers in before graduation day...along with what you're going to do.

Jayden: Thank you sir.

Chancellor: Ah...one more thing. This came for you as well.

The Chancellor hands Jayden an envelope, which contains an invitation to the Bullingdon Club...

Jayden: Um....wow...

[Pockets]

There is a soft knocking at the door and Jessica pokes her head.

Jessica: Oh! I'm very sorry! I didn't realize that you were bu... Jayden?

[Cryonix]

Jayden smiles at her...

Jayden: Hey, Jess. Don't worry...just finishing up here.

[Pockets]

Jessica nods.

Jessica: I'll be right outside.

[Cryonix]

Chancellor: Ah, you two do know each other. Splendid. If you could give her this graduation packet, I'd appreciate it.

Jayden: Of course.

Jayden shakes his hand and leaves the office. He finds Jessica and gives her a hug...

Jayden: Hey there, beautiful.

[Pockets]

Jessica returns the hug, and plants a soft kiss on Jayden's lips.

Jessica: Hi there, handsome.

She looks a little disappointed at having to leave.

Jessica: I have to go meet with the chancellor.

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Oh, right. No, you don't. I got what he wanted to give you...

Jayden hands her the packet from the Chancellor....

Jayden: It looks like you'll be graduating at the top of the class....along with someone else...

[Pockets]

Jessica smiles at the news, taking the packet.

Jessica: I am? Who else?

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Heh....me. I was actually hoping....you could help me with something, hon. Apparently...

Jayden explains the glorious news to Jessica as they walk to his car...

Jayden: What do you think?

[Pockets]

Jessica throws her arms around Jayden.

Jessica: Oh, that's wonderful! What school are you going to choose? Or are you going for the internship? This is exciting!

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Well, that's just it, hon. I made a lot of those plans before I ever thought I'd be with you....let alone....marrying you. You're opinion is very valuable to me. I mean, politics is something I've always wanted to do...but...I'm just not sure. I mean....I can't be president of the United States....and Uncle doesn't think being Prime Minister is what I'd want....I'm just...confused.

[Pockets]

Jessica: Your uncle doesn't think you'd want to be Prime Minister... but you've thought about being President of the United States. Would you want to be Prime Minister? And don't worry about me, I'm happy wherever you are.

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Don't hon....please...I, I want you to follow your own dreams as well.

He takes her hands in his...

Jayden: I want to know what you want...you'll help me decide. Though I must admit....Prime Minister Cortez sounds...really good...

[Pockets]

Jessica: Well... what I've always wanted to be....

She blushes, grinning.

Jessica: ... is a Lady.

She looks at Jayden more seriously.

Jessica: Don't sell yourself short for me. I'll find something wherever.

She giggles.

Jessica: Although... an English Prime Minister with a Spanish name? Very ironic.

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Well...I never really thought of that!

Jayden laughs...

Jayden: ...You really think I can do this?

[Pockets]

Jessica: I do... and I will be behind you through all of it.

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Thank you, Jess. Well, I better call my uncle.

Jayden pulls out his phone and dials....

Jayden: Hey Uncle....No....everything's fine, it's just....something big has come up......yeah.....I was wondering if I could talk to you and Auntie over lunch with Jessica?......Thanks, Unc....we'll be over soon. Bye.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan puts down the phone, smiles and heads into the kitchen to prepare lunch.

Ewan: Jilly, sweetie. Jayden and Jessica will be joining us for lunch..... apparently something big has come up...... hmmmmn.... that came out wrong....

[Cryonix]

An hour or so later, Jayden and Jessica arrive at the Edwards estate. Jayden give Jessica a kiss...

Jayden: You go ahead and take a shower and freshen up, hon. I'll go talk to my aunt and uncle.

Jayden walks Jessica up to their room and gives her a deep kiss before returning downstairs. Jillian is putting the finishing touches on a grilled chicken cutlet...

Jillian: Jayden, love! Ewan said you'd be coming over. Sit please....I'm just finishing up lunch.

Jayden: Aunt Jilly....a chicken cutlet with lemon is usually your....'after exercise' meal. I take it Uncle is still...showering?

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan emerges in clean clothes, just out of the shower. He gives Jilly a quick peck.

Ewan: Yes, well..... we both get a little cranky if we don't some regular.... exercise.

He sits with Jayden.

.... so..... what's going on? You look a little.... overwhelmed.

[Cryonix]

Jayden sits...

Jayden: Yeah...I've noticed that.

Jillian: I don't get...cranky, do I? I just...

Jayden: He lured you with cake, didn't he?

Jillian: .............................yes.

Jayden can't help but laugh...

Jayden: Anyway...do you guys remember my sophomore year? I didn't know what I wanted to do or where I was going...so I just filled out applications to dozens of finishing schools? Well, according to the chancellor...they've all come back...and they've all accepted me...Including every Ivy League Law school. On top of that, I've gotten a personal invitation to intern with the House of Lords...and at the Prime Minister's office.

...Add all that...to the fact that I'll be graduating top of my class at Oxford...along with Jessica...Magna Cum Laude and as co-valedictorians. I just...have no idea what to do or where to go...though I have to admit..."Youngest Prime Minister in the history of England" sounds pretty good to me...

Ewan: Congratulations son..... to be honest that is how I anticipated events unfolding.

He hugs Jayden.
