Before Nikki can say anything Jessica runs back downstairs, almost tripping over herself, small suitcase bumping down the stairs behind her.

Jessica: I'm ready!

Jayden takes the suitcase from her with a smile...

Jayden: Here...let me get that, Jessica. Well...we should be off. We do have a long drive ahead of us.

Christian: I can trust you with my Jessica?

Jayden: Of course. She's in great hands, sir. That I promise.

A quick, subtle wink to Jessica as he opens the door for her...

Jessica gives her dad a kiss on the cheek good bye, and gives her sister a hug, whispering in her ear.

Jessica: Have fun....

Nikki smirks and answers in a whisper herself.

Nikki: You too....

They break the hug and Jessica runs toward Jayden and the door.

Jayden takes her hand and gives a slight nod to Christian. The two walk back to the car. On the way...

Jayden: I don't think your dad suspected anything....do you?

He opens the passener side door for her again before putting her suitcase in the backseat...

Jayden: Well hon.....shall we?

Walking away to get some privacy she mutters under her breath, grinning.

Nikki: ... as far as you know...

She answers the phone.

Nikki: Gabe, hey!

She yells into the other room.

Nikki: I'm on the phone, dad!

Back into the phone.

Nikki: Sorry about that.

Gabe: Wow...not the best time to ask about coming to see me, huh?

Christian: Well, thank you for fitting me into your busy schedule. Now, I'm very concerned about this...man...you seem to be hung up on this....hour. You don't even know him...and I see you parading around in Vegas of all places with some cage fighter on the internet. Do you think I like seeing pictures reffering to you as a 'hot piece of...' ahem..... 'ass'? And you want me to be ok with you just winging off to L.A. for two weeks?

Nikki: I told you aiready... I met him when I was stuck in the hospital and we talked and everything and it was cool. It's not like I was the one that wrote that article... and the other side started that fight, if you didn't notice. If he was going to do anything bad wouldn't he have done it the first time I was out there? And it's not "hung up on this hour". It's been more than a month.
