Ashley looks at the food, breathing in the aroma as if it was the best thing he had ever smelled.
Ashley:"My dear...wot ever the price...it would be worth it."

Naomi laughs out loud...

Naomi: You're sweet. Here, have some food. God knows what they have been serving you all day.

She fixes him a plate and pours him a glass of apple juice. Ashley, who is now able to stand and walk around in the hospital room, joins her at the makeshift table.

Naomi: ~giggling~ Wow...such stunning legs out of that gown...

Ashley:"Well, I'll save you the show and walk backwards to the bed. This gown is....drafty back there."

he sits down and starts to eat

Ashley:"So this is wot food tastes like....Naomi, please go bring some o'this to wotever this place calls a chef, and make it clear that wot this place serves is not food.."

Naomi: I've tried. It doesn't work. So...Dr. Jordans tells me that well...it's as bad as you thought. Your liver funtion is pretty shot, but I'm sure you knew that. Thankfully, though it's not cancer. The other thing is...you need to basically destress. Blood pressure medication and the like...perhaps go on vacation. Just something to escape for a while.

Ashley:"You know, its funny..fer years I tried to escape. I just didn't go anywhere."

Ashley:"We were close...we were..well...family. I don't really know where it went wrong. I'm not sure Ewan ever forgave me fer kicking Jillian..

I was the longest tenured wrestler on staff, and I saw the direction the company was going. It ate me inside. I finally publicly stated my concerns, which fell on deaf ears. That's when I suffered me first knee injury. It 'ealed and I decided to try some indy feds around canada and the states...I was foiting some kid named Baxter "the brute" Bob. Real big fecker. Anyways, partly me fault but a move got botched. That undid all the 'ealing me knee went through. At that point I knew I was done...it was soon after that I lost me balance. Me marriage with Moira was all but over already and I isolated meself from the world."
