Alex breathes a huge sigh of relief and pulls Alexis into a hug, physically lifting her off the ground with ease.

"I don't think you have the slightest idea how glad I am to hear you say that."

As Alexis snuggles into him, Alex starts planting kisses on her neck.

"Oh really?"

He grins at her playfully, still holding her in the air.

"Then you'll understand that you better get used to this form of transportation...."

He carries Alexis over to the couch and sits, gently placing her on his lap.

"....because there's no chance in hell I'm ever letting go of you now."

She double-takes the end of what Alex says and looks at him in mock indignation.

Alexis: Inherit Edwards wrestling powers? The one thing I can't knock my parents for is that, whether or not they liked it, they gave me some pretty awesome wrestling powers too. Besides, I thought you didn't want the Edwards powers.
