Alex: I don't think so..... I mean..... we've all made peace with our families..... You with Colin and Lexi.... me with my family..... even Micah made some kind of peace with Stu before he died.....we're all starting our own families too Colin included....him and Amber.... Lexi and me..... Micah and Mandy....... heh maybe that has something to do with it......fear about both his sister and his best friends becoming Edwards'?

Alex: Well yeah..... I just don't know what else me or my family could do to try and ease his concerns about that I mean.... We've made it perfectly clear to both Lexi and Micah that their relationship with us doesn't need to influence their relationships with their friends and family at all..... I've tried to make sure Colin knows that..... but he doesn't seem to trust me about stuff like that anymore.....

Alex: I guess I can understand to a certain extent why we may come across as untrustworthy..... but honestly, all we want is to make both Micah and Lexi happy..... they're our blood too now...... I guess all we can do is give it time....... maybe sooner or later he'll notice that we haven't turned them into mindless zombies....... maybe he'll warm up a little one he meets his nieces and/or nephews.....

He chuckles and Alex zones off thinking about the babies for a moment and his eyes almost glow the way only proud, loving and protective father's can.

Alexis glances at Colin like she doesn't quite believe him, then at the quiet Amanda. She starts to look a little uneasy.

Alexis: So... ah... anyone else want to see if the babies will kick for them?

Nikki notices the glances.

He hears himself and chuckles.

.... you're probably right.... so many visitors fawning over her she probably wont even notice I'm gone....

Amanda looks around and sees the glances, and remembers the promise she made to Alex.

Amanda: Hey Lexi, mind if I use your dojo? I haven't trained in a couple weeks and Micah will kill me if he sees how sloppy my forms have gotten.

Alex grabs his coat and leads Ashley outside and round to the garage building where there are several cars carefully stored on Hydraulic lifts.

Alex: You got a preference?

Amanda starts pouring herself a glass of wine.

Amanda: I know you don't drink..... Alex and Lexi keep the fridge pretty well stocked..... help yourself.

he looks around

"I feel a little under-dressed to be in a 2011 Rolls Royce Phantom..."

Colin nods and opens the fridge, grabbing a San Pellegrino he stands there silent for a moment
Colin:"...I...feel I need to apologize for the last time we spoke. I didn't...don't...want things to end up between any of us..."

Alex: Don't worry the "soccer wagon" is on order.

He looks around for a moment.

..... hmmmmn this seems appropriate.....

He punches a code into a locker on the wall and retrieves a set of keys. Simultaneously one of the lifts lowers Ashley's wedding present to Alex, the car from he and Thew's Rap promo.

Amanda sighs and bows her head a little..... she sucks at apologising.

Amanda: Look..... Colin..... I'm sure we both said some things that came out completely different to how we meant them..... I have kind of a short temper at times.... You hit a raw nerve and I flipped a little..... but that's no excuse..... I probably could have tried harder to not be such a bitch about it.... so..... for what it's worth..... I'm..... sorry too.....
