Jayden: I know...but I think it's trying to prove something to me.

Jayden: That....I....God, I don't know how to even vocalize it. I want so much...but...I feel like nothing I do is good enough for me. I just gotta keep moving around it feels like.

Ewan: Is there.... something more you need from us?

[Cryonix]

Jayden: No! No, God not at all. It's....I want to do well because of you guys.

Ewan: Alright.... I can understand that.... just try not to be so hard on yourself..... make time for fun every once in a while.....

.... and as regards your...... dinner plans...... they're cancelled.... you're having dinner with your aunt and I.... come along now.....

Jayden: Oh I am? Heh...alright. I...guess I'm a bit worried about how Jessica is doing. Alex can be a rather....intense trainer.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: Intense, yes..... but no-one is better equipped to teach Jessica safely

Jayden: Alright. So then....what's for dinner?

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan laughs.

Ewan: I'm not sure.... your aunt is cooking.... so I have you have an appetite....

Jayden grabs his coat and finishes his coffee....

Jayden: Well, we best be going. I know how Auntie can be if we're late....

Ewan and Jayden head back to the estate.

Ewan: Honey.... I'm home.... look who I found.

Jillian: Well, well, well...the workaholic actually came home at a decent hour for once. How are you?

Jayden: I'm fine. Just...a little worn out. Guess I never realized it till I got home.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan grabs Jayden a glass of his private reserve scotch.

Ewan: Get comfortable son.... you're welcome to stay the night if you'd like..... your old room is just as you left it.

Jayden: Thanks.

Jayden sits on the couch and takes a couple of sips of the single malt scotch...

Jayden: They seem to be very happy with my work.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: I don't doubt it.... it's been a while since they've had someone with some vision......

[Cryonix]

Jayden: That sounds like sour grapes, Uncle.

Jillian: Ewan is not really a fan of our current political situation...

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: The greatest financial deficit of all time due to corruption in the system..... Crime and Unemployment and homelessness figures at an all time high.... becoming puppets of a corrupt American regime..... our last two prime minister were not even elected justly.... That's why I was always hesitant for you to enter politics Jayden..... you're too good for it...... a diamond amongst a sea of polished turds.

[Cryonix]

Jayden: I know...but that's why I entered. It's probably the greatest challenge I could think of. It's daunting to be sure...but I've been reading everything, taking meetings and just learning as much as I can. A lot of people on staff...and some international voices are looking at me as...the next Prime Minister. They do most of their talking to me nowadays.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan smiles.

Ewan: I know your intentions son.

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Well.....there are some that aren't so happy that I'm there.

[Cruel Britannia]

Ewan: I can imagine..... there are many.... many people who are happy with the status quo.... because the status quo has made them very wealthy.

[Cryonix]

Jayden: Exactly...they don't like that I've been going over the books and finding so many loopholes and miscalculations...did you know there was like...fifty seven million pounds that is...unaccounted for?

Ewan: It doesn't surprise me.......
