Micah: Oh, I didn't realize they were back. Alex, Lexi...long time you two! Hope the trip was fun...

Alexis: Hey, Micah. Yes it was.

Alex: Yeah..... good to be home though.... what'd we miss while we were gone?

Micah: Um...Mandy, you think I should tell them about Colin?

[Pockets]

Alexis glances at Alex.

Alexis: What about Colin?

Mandy mouths the words "Not Alex"

Alex: What about Colin?

[Cryonix]

Micah: Well it basically finally came to light that while we were training in Vancouver....Colin and I.....

...well, it was a long time ago...

[Pockets]

Alexis relaxes.

Alexis: Um... yeah... I could kind of tell....

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Oh.... well I already assumed that much...... but um.... I'm sure Lexi has questions.

Lexi, honey I just remembered I'd better go call Ben about that job.

He heads into the other room with his cell.

[Cryonix]

Micah: So...you knew that it happened twice then?

Meanwhile...

Ben: Alex! I wasn't expecting to hear from you with so much bodily fluids left! How are you?

[Pockets]

Alexis: Twice? Um... no, that I did not know.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Heh.... waiting for dinner to cook while the wife talks to Micah about Colin..... thought I'd take the time to thank you for the wedding..... and the honeymoon.... and the giant fucking house..... and the job offer..... it's all too much.

[Cryonix]

Ben: Alex, there's nothing to thank me for. I saw a wonderful, young man....more than worthy of my daugh.....er...Alexis. I wanted to help cultivate that relationship as best I could. That's all. I take it the dinner on the yacht was fantastic?

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Beyond words.... it's always a pleasure to watch a master of his craft at work.....even if we couldn't move for three days afterwards.

.... listen..... I wanted to let you know that if the job offer is still open..... I'd love to accept.

[Cryonix]

Ben: Of course the offer is open, Alex. I just have one question for you. ...If you had the choice....?

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: The choice?

[Cryonix]

Ben: My job....or wrestling.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Wrestling..... in a heartbeat..... you wouldn't stand a chance..... but that isn't an option..... and I have to build a life for myself and my wife..... and well..... working for your father-in-law..... I can think of worse ways to give your wife the kind of life she deserves

[Cryonix]

Ben: ...That's exactly why I offered you this job. You're honest. I knew that if you had the choice, you'd choose wrestling. It's your passion and I understand that. Continue to be honest and you will do well in this job. You'll have full insurance for you and Alexis and your children, the paycheck we talked about and an expense account. Do you think there is anything else you might need to do this job?

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Nothing specifically from you.... but I was wondering if you could arrange for a percentage of my salary to be transferred directly into a fund that will assure Lexi..... and my kids will continue to be taken care of if anything were to happen to me.

[Cryonix]

Ben: I would be more than happy to do that. Welcome to the team, Alex. I'll be sending you all the paperwork to make it official within the coming week or so.

[Cruel Britannia]

Alex: Thanks very much Ben.

[Cryonix]

Ben: Of course, Alex. Now go, be newlywed. We'll talk soon.

Alex chuckles.

Alex: You're the boss... Speak to you soon.

Alex hangs up and walks back into the kitchen to find Lexi banging her head against the wall.....
