Ashley finds Colin talking with Micah

Colin:"Just a sec...hey dad."

Ashley:"'ey, just letting you know I'm leaving with Naomi soon. I'll be gone fer a bit."

Colin:"Yeah I heard about you and the bridge. What the hell? I mean...Ugh..."

Ashley:"Look I know..why do you think I'm leaving to get 'elp?"

Colin simply nods
Colin:"I know..I know..You say goodbye to Alexis?"

Ashley:"...Aye."

Colin:"...It didn't go well, did it?"

Ashley smirks a bit
"You know, as similar as you two are...your so bloody different from each other. It went better then...well...most of me recent convos 'ave. Mostly because I stopped talking I think...?
Anyway she asked that I tell you to go see 'er."

Colin:"Alright. How long you think this thing will be?"

Ashley:"No idea, why?"

Colin:"Oh no reason...I'm just engaged."

Ashley stares at Colin for a long moment

Ashley:"First I 'ear you bought a 'ouse...now yer engaged? Who are you and wot did you do with Colin?"
he hugs his son
Ashley:"Look when we can, we'll celebrate. But I should get going."

they finish their good byes and Ashley goes his way to back to Naomi. Colin tells Micah he'll be right back and heads off to see Alexis

Alex sees Lexi's discomfort.

Alex: Which means..... you would have heard me if I had been screaming...... and I wasn't.... so clearly I'm OK..... it's just a little headache that's all.

Alexis nods, relieved. She walks over to Alex and takes his hand. A movement catches her eye, and she turns to see Colin in the doorway. Her eyes light up, but she smirks at him.

Alexis: So, wait, you're not going to let me know you're alright until dad tells you to?

Colin:"Not exactly a hundred percent alright sister. It's been a very very up and down pro and con sort of day and I've had a lot on my mind. Sorry, a lot to deal with."

Colin looks over at Alex

Colin:"Thanks. So what happened? I leave and you decide ending up in the hospital is trendy?"
