Shawn: Well....I...I was born in Pheonix, but...I did grow up in Miami since I was 7. My...parents died in a car accident...and my grandmother raised me. I got into...street racing. Got pretty good at it. Starting making lots of money...but I was 14. I was...boosting cars, chop shops...all of that...

Ben: Yes, I know. Lauren told me on the plane. Colin was...pretty tired and warn out. Micah did a lot of the paperwork for him so he didn't have to deal with it. I help set them up in a couple investment opportunities. They are...rather wealthy children, Ashley...though...Micah did think that Colin would like you to have something as well....

Shawn: Yeah...well...I was trying to commit suicide...but having as much fun as I possibly could along the way, Raquel. I didn't want to be here...

Shawn: I don't know if I've ever gotten over it. I'm around these people who have perfect lives...happy childhoods...and...I just never...felt that way. I mean why else would a normal, well adjusted guy....break up a happy marriage? Why...would that guy be so...reckless in the ring...just reckless with his life in general? I mean...I had to watch Ewan everyday...and...ugh....God I hate how happy he was....how...put together and well-fucking-adjusted. I...wasn't that...and I don't know if I could ever be that...

Ben: I understand all that....except...why are you telling me this, Ashley?

Ben: Yes. Yes we are. I still don't see how that has to do with this, Ashley.

Shawn: Erin, I know...but....I was on the road with him...worked with him everyday. I heard all the happy phone calls back home and the praise from his dad...no matter how harsh it sounded. I had to...lie...to him...telling him my dad would call later....or my grandmother, who was in a home, would send me a letter.

Shawn looks to Raquel...

Shawn: You say that, hon...but....for a while, didn't you compare yourself to Moira...and...for a little bit...even Erin?

I know I'm probably preaching to the choir with this but, please be a better 'usband to 'er then I was. Believe me, that won't take much."

Raquel shoots Erin a look then turns back to Shawn with a sigh
Raquel:"I know I did Shawn. Because I wasn't happy with myself. I know that both of us probably will still do that, on a subconscious level at least. But...I know that we can pick each other when we are down. We can keep each other going. I know, because thats what I want for you...for us."

Ashley:"Look, I'm going to be going away fer a bit. After that...bridge thing...I'm going back to Seattle with Naomi fer treatment. I don't exactly know wot is going to 'appen there. If I can't be there fer Colin, I would like to know 'e at least 'as somebody to turn to if 'e needs it. I'm not saying replace me but, in me absence...'es a kid with a rough past...'e's tough but...Sometimes 'e handles things a bit to much like 'is old man."
he smirks
"He'll turn to Moira I know that...but don't act loik you can't talk to 'im."

Raquel squeezes Shawn's hand, smiling as she shakes her head, a warm sincerity in her eyes
Raquel:"Shawn...you are the best thing to ever happen to me. You're the only person who ever made me feel like I was truly worth something. That I was worth being loved. Truly truly loved. You're that beam of sun breaking through they greyness that had been my life, giving me hope.

Moira: We weren't exactly the girls wot guys were interested in, so when your dad got interested in 'er it was a 'uge deal for 'er. Then she realized other guys were noticin' 'er too, an' she wanted the attention from all of them. When your dad found out, 'e didn't want anythin' to do with 'er anymore... 'e didn't realize she was already pregnant with you, an' I don't think she did either. We'd been friends since before your parents met, mey an' your dad, an' when Caley saw us together....

Moira sighs.

Moira: She disappeared, for years, cut all ties from mey. We were near best friends, the only one wot I was closer to was Jilly, an' jus' loik that, it was gone.
