Amber: Oh...a lot. Alex ended up in the hospital for falling off your dad's car when he tried to gun it, Shawn relapsed, Raquel and Shawn are getting married and apparently Raquel is carrying Shawn's baby...oh..and your dad tried to jump off a bridge and Shawn is currently in dyalisis...

...so...nothing much.

A couple of hours after he has fallen asleep again, Alexis reluctantly shakes Alex's shoulder, gently.

Alexis: Hey, honey.... I'm sorry, but you have to wake up. I've got to make sure you're still you....

A doctor with a mask walks into the room, looking at the two of them. He takes out a pen and starts writing on a clipboard...

Doctor: Yes. Alex Edwards, correct? Good. Miss, I'm going to have to ask you to step outside. He's due for his urinary tract infection test. Nurse...please bring me the syringe...

A nurse walks in, bringing the doctor a large syringe with about a six inch needle....

Doctor: Now...this might hurt a tad...

Lauren: Alright Colin...it's time. Are you sure you're ready for this?

She very reluctantly untangles her hand from Alex's and walks out of the room, giving Alex one last look as she goes.
