Man: Mr. Cortez....Ten minutes. Mr. Velasquez is walking out now.

Gabe: I'll be ready. Well....this is it, guys....

Ashley:"This is feckin stupid. Why did you bring me to vegas for some MMA match?"

Colin:"I figured you needed to get away. Can't help if I wanted some private time with my dad..what better place then Vegas? Just happened I scored seats when we got here..."

Ashley:"Bloody 'ell fine...Who is on the card?"

Colin:"To be honest I have no idea...But I think our seats are down there. Third row. Come on."

Ashley groans and follows his son

Alexis hugs Gabe and give him a kiss on the cheek.

Alexis: Good luck, although you won't need it.

Nikki playfully pushes her.

Nikki: Back off!

Alexis rolls her eyes.

Alexis: Oh believe me, he's all yours.

She glances a little nervously at Alex as Nikki throws her arms around Gabe.

Gabe: Don't worry Lexi...I really like her.

He gives Nikki a deep kiss right as the security guards show.

Guard number 1: Mr. Cortez....it's time.

Gabe nods and the family all stands as one. Gabe throws on his Gi top with all of his sponorships on it over his new Cruel Brittiania Combat Athletics "Royal Lion" t-shirt. He puts on his custom black belt with the ranks of his styles on it and then...as he has done for each of his fights before, he takes his personal 'Edwards family crest' towel and places it over his head. He takes Nikki by the hand and nods at the family then the guards. Team CBCA flank Gabe on either side as the walk to the ring happens. Out in the arena, the lights go off and the crowd starts to go nuts, espeically the ladies in the arena. Chants of 'Cor-Tez' start to echo and shake the building. Finally...this song can be heard over the P.A. system...

Alex: Hitting on my cousin right before his big fight..... disgraceful....

He sticks his tongue out at Lexi. He takes her hand and places his other on Gabe's right shoulder as they walk out into the arena. All of Team CBCA have the trademark Edwards smirk plastered across their face as they walk to the Octagon.... even Lexi seems to have aquired the "look".

Ashley:"Lets go."

Colin:"Why?"

Ashley:"Lets go."

Colin:"They can't be mad at you for being taken to a match by your son...besides if you just sit there they probably wont notice."

Ashley sits down with a slight grumble

Colin:"Hey it'll be fine..."

Gabe comes out to a racous ovation. He plays his persona up to the crowd and camera beautifully, even stopping in the middle of his walkdown and showing off Nikki to the camera, twirling her around slowly so the cameraman gets a good look and then Gabe mouths the words, "Are you kidding me?" to the camera. Meanwhile, an usher comes and sees Ashley O'Ryan and Colin...

Usher: Oh, sir...you're a celebrity. This is not your section. You're further up.

The usher escorts them to the front row...in seats C and D where they sit next to Brock and Rena Lesnar. Jillian looks in the crowd seeing Gabe act the way he does, she shakes her head but then...

Jilly: Ewan....that....that can't be, can it? Front row...

Brock nods at Colin and shakes Ashley's hand as Team CBCA walk past the front row. Gabe stops and looks at Brock...

Gabe: Hey, Lesnar! Glad you could make it out...want to see the next Heavyweight champion in action personally, huh?

Brock: Just seeing who's ass I have to kick in the octagon next.

Gabe: That's funny...real cute. Look, I'll be with you in ten minutes...maybe even less. Did you say hi to Cain on his way out...or are you still trying to find your jaw first?

Lesnar stands and gets in Gabe's face, who just smiles...

Rena: I...um....well.....ahem....no.... ~shifty eyes~

Lesnar: Like I have anything to worry about from a unimportant pro wrestling family that has given nothing to the sport. Ian Edwards...

He spits on the ground...

Lesnar: ...and his so called 'legacy'...

He spits again...
