In the bag are three books. S. E. Hinton's The Outsiders, The Complete Works of Homer: The Iliad and the Odyssey, and a journal. Inside the journals cover is a note

Amber:"So my ten, jack, queen, king, ace beats your three aces?"
Colin:"Yeah..you win...again."
Amber:"You don't lose often do you?"
Colin:"This..seems strangely worth it.."

Micah continues to read the journal...seeing that Amanda knows what he is going through...just in a different way. He's suprised that she would share this with him. He smiles...

Colin:"Heh..all the time.."

Amber:"It was strange."

Colin:"What? That I ended up being some fat middle aged pervert?"

Amber:"They aren't all like that but...I mean that you wanted to talk not...you know.."

Amanda stands at the edge of the springboard, staring at her reflection. She takes four steps back and runs towards the edge. She bounces off the edge, her body spinning then straightening into a perfect dive

She smiles and shrugs
Amanda:"I should practice my dive one more time anyways"
She drops the towel and goes back up to the edge of the springboard, turns her back to the water and does a back 1 1/2 pike off the board.
She comes back up with a look of pride in her eyes
