Amanda:"After my ex cheated on me...I got really depressed. I made most of those cuts and then I downed a bottle of painkillers with a half bottle of Grey Goose. I woke up in the hospital. Turns out some mail man saw me passed out on the floor and called 911. Since then every man...hell every person...I've been with has seemed to be repulsed at these marks. I've had to only make love in the dark, or wear something to cover them."

Amanda:"But look, I had nothing when I tried that. There was nothing for me. I survived."
She looks directly into Micah's eyes
Amanda:"You have a lot to live for. Maybe some of it isn't obvious. But that will come in time. But you do have close friends. Don't do what I think your planning while you still have something positive in your life. It took me a long time but, there always is something positive. Even if it seems minute."

Micah walks outside and sees Colin and Amber together. Micah gives a somber smile...realizing how alone he really is...

Micah: Hey...Amber, Amanda is awake. She's asking for you.

She walks into the house. Colin places a fresh cigarette in his mouth and lets it dangle there unlit as he looks over at Micah

Colin:"Heard you became a hero tonight.."

Micah retires to his room...traces his finger across his scar...and as he is, he can hear his father's voice again...

..."You mean nothing to anyone. No one wants you...come...to me...son...fall, like I know you will eventually. Monster..."

The next day Colin wakes up fairly early, the previous night considered. He wanders into the kitchen. It's empty. He groggily goes to the fridge and starts taking out fixings for an omelette.

By this time Amber, Amanda, and Colin have all had lunch. Colin looks at this watch...then towards Micah's room

Colin:"I'll clean up girls...tell you what, take my car and do some shopping."

Amber grabs the keys and gives Colin a soft kiss before leaving with Amanda
Colin looks towards the room again
