Cynthia: Can he have some sort of surveillance put on him? Both him, and my mother, the one in the bed. Just to make sure nothing else happens.

she sighs

Nurse:"Look, one of the night watchmen owes me a favor. I'll...see what I can do."

Cynthia sighs, looking a little frustrated.

Cynthia: There's already a form of surveillance with the monitors. But I know if you don't watch closely they will get worse... they very well could die. Any questionable activity will be covered up. And even were you to call the local police, find someone whose hands are clean, this is far too big and dangerous a thing for them. I dare not even tell you what we're facing here. It would put you in danger, knowing too much.

The nurse stares at Cynthia

Nurse:"when I said I will see what I can do, that means I understand your situation. Better then you might think. I'm not a fool...Just don't draw attention to yourselves."

Cynthia looks at the nurse for a moment, then offers a small smile.

Cynthia: I see. I'll leave it your hands then. Just let me know what room father is put in. He's not going to be happy being away from mother.

She glances at Cynthias mother then at Cynthia
