Alex: Unfair? I will happily pay my mum's salary and provide whatever luxuries are necessary to keep her on retainer as your personal physician...... she also happens to be a hell of an OBGYN..... so killing two birds with one stone.

Alex: My dad told me once that it's about giving yourself to someone.... all of yourself..... like no matter what's going on with my dad..... the first thing on his mind is always my mum..... and vice versa.... he lives for her and she lives for him.....it's like they own each other's sould...... and although that sounds like the best thing in the world..... and it is....... it's also one of the scariest things to do.... to give yourself to someone that completely..... she could crush him so easily...... not everyone is prepared to risk being that vulnerable.
