Gabe takes the drink and smiles...

Gabe: I just might. Alright...here we go.

The teams exit the cage and the fight starts again. Near the end of the second round, Cain senses an opening and catches Gabriel with a...what he thinks...is a hard round kick to the ribs. Gabe doubles over and Cain goes for that big overhand right. Gabe smirks to himself and in an instant he sidesteps the right, and sets Cain up for a Uranage...but instead he falls backwards in a Reverse STO, bouncing Cain's face off the mat. He locks in a head and arms choke...but then...in an amazing show of flexibility and wearwithall....

Joe Rogan: OH MY GOD! ISN'T THAT THE KOJI CLUTCH?!?!?

The crowd is on thier feet now and Cain is in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go...and he is fading....FAST....

Gabe cranks back as far as he can and Velasquez finally goes limp. The ref sees it and stops the fight, declaring Gabriel Cortez the new UFC Heavyweight Champion of the world....

Alex jumps the cage soon after and hugs his cousin. Ewan does the same, handing Gabe his team shirt and hat, before shooting a quick glare at Brock Lesnar.

Colin:"One sec need to call Peter."

Ashley:"Peter?"

Ashley laughs, Colin smiles

Colin:"Hey I needed to keep an eye on this match. I just won a hundred grand thanks to Gabe. And If I told you the match you would have refused to go."

The trademark of Joe Rogan can be heard over the PPV broadcast, "It's ALL OVER! GABRIEL CORTEZ IS THE NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!" Gabe kisses Nikki and hugs his family members. He puts on his CBCA shirt and hat and Dana White presents him with the UFC Heavyweight championship belt. Joe comes down for his post fight interview and catches Gabe who is taking a bow to the audiance...

Joe: Congrats, Gabriel...

Gabe: Oh, you know Joe...this is a wonderful moment. I'd...I'd like to thank my family for training me...and I'd like to congradulate my best friend and cousin Alex for getting married in a few weeks. Hey, get over here Al...this guy is my training partner and hell of a great guy.

He grabs Alex and brings him on television with Alexis and Nikki...

Gabe: This is his fiance, Alexis and this is....heh....my girl, Nikki.

Joe: Hello everyone. Gabe....that hold you had Cain in, in the final moments...how the hell did you pull that off?

Gabe: I could never really get that hold right as a kid...but my Uncle, and most importantly...my mother showed me how to apply it correctly. This one's for you mom...

As Gabe thanks Erin, Alex blows a kiss to her through the camera and Ewan nods proudly. Back in her Hospital room, Erin sobs, but this time not with sadness.

Joe: That's awesome, Gabe...now if I may ask about the incident earlier tonight, before your fight...

Gabe: There was no incident. I had my people with me, and some mediocre wrestler that USED to be champion...thought he could get in our faces.

He walks to the other side of the cage, gets on top and looks directly at Brock and team DeathClutch...

Gabe: Come on Brock, I've got ten more minutes to kill. I'm just warmed up. See....I can actually BEAT Cain...unlike someone.

Brock and his people stand and start to walk off...until Gabe pushes the right button...

Gabe: Hey, TEAM NUTCLUCH! I'M TALKING TO YOUR BLONDE MONKEY THERE!

Brock stops and rushes the octagon...

Ewan pulls Gabe back and grabs the mic from Joe Rogan.

Ewan: Not yet champ. LESNAR! Tonight..... you insulted my family.... and you spat at my wife..... as of tomorrow morning.... I'm signing a three fight deal with the UFC..... just for you Brock..... You want the champ? You gotta go through me you albino frankenstein looking motherfucker!

Gabe laughs at the insult, but Brock's people can barley hold him from getting to the ocatgon. Gabe continues to taunt him with the belt and Brock starts to turn red with anger. Gabe finally hops down and Dana puts the belt around his waist. Gabe holds his arms up and as he does, gold championship belt confetti falls from the sky onto the crowd. Gabe looks at Alex and winks...

Gabe: I might have been a tad bit confident...

Gabe and the rest of the team make thier way back to the CBCA locker room where there is champange and bottled water. Gabe takes a picture with all of his family members and finally a picture with Nikki. He then gets Alex, Jayden and Ewan in a picture holding the belt and a sign that says, "To Erin....Wish you were here!" Everyone is ready to go out to the victory party...but Alex and Nikki notice that Gabe is sitting alone in the locker room...holding the championship. There is a solitary tear in his eye along with a smirk...
